Andrea Lau is a public policy professional with a proven track record in legislative advocacy for civil rights, racial justice, fair housing, and economic opportunity.

Andrea brings her technical experience with data analysis and data visualization as well as her management background to her subject areas of expertise. Her years of professional experience reflect a dedication to promoting racial justice and furthering civil rights through federal advocacy, motivated by the goal of making housing and economic policy equitable for marginalized communities of color.

Andrea seeks to serve the communities that have long had no voice or representation in government, and as a result have been marginalized and underserved. She envisions employing her graduate degree in public policy forge a type of advocacy that combines the quantitative and qualitative analytical tools of policymaking with the collaborative and community-building strengths of activism.
